One of our most popular pendants for a hallway, the Hall Lantern is a handsome, forged iron hanging lantern that commands centre stage wherever it is fitted - perfect for achieving statement lighting in any room of your home. Handcrafted in Suffolk from solid, high quality steel, its elegant arches create a classic silhouette that looks wonderful suspended in a hallway, stairwell, landing or above a dining room table.
The Hall Lantern features an arching steel cage with four panes of cut class surrounding a central stem that houses the four lamp holders that ensure there is a generous spread of light. In its manufacturing, we felt that our beeswax was the perfect finish as it brings out the lovely, soft black, rustic hues of the underlaying metal that we know will look wonderful gracing rooms in a period or modern setting.

Finish: Beeswax - a traditional metalworking technique used since Tudor times to give a rustic, soft black finish. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives it a lovely soft black wrought iron effect that looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre. It is not waterproof, so will need to be re-waxed occasionally. For more information and cleaning tips, see our
