DESCRIPTION Named after one of Suffolk's most famous painters, our Gainsborough wall lights are based on designs found in the artist's home in Sudbury. A striking, solid brass wall light with an eye-catching octagonal backplate, the Single Gainsborough incorporates a finely detailed shade arm and hexagonal candle holder and drip tray into its design.As well as washing your walls in layers of light, the Gainsborough will bring a touch of old fashioned styling to your home, ideal for a period home or for bringing a sense of vintage charm to a modern one. All Jim Lawrence products are handcrafted using traditional metal working techniques that have been passed down through the generations and are hand finished to the highest standards at our Suffolk workshops. This light is handcrafted in solid, natural brass that is antiqued for a subtle, aged appearance.We recommend our small bayonet, SBC Candle LED Filmament Bulb as the perfect accompaniment to your light as it is energy efficient, has the look of a heritage bulb and gives off a wam white light.The Gainsborough is also available as a double wall light.A shade will need to be purchased separately.
