FAQs

How long do these lamps last on full power?

Run times depend heavily on the battery's capacity and the brightness level. Most cordless lamps last between 4 and 8 hours on the highest brightness setting, but can stretch anywhere from 15 to 50 hours when dimmed.

Our rechargeable table lamps have a run time of around 6 hours at full brightness and more than 50 hours if dimmed.

Can I use the lamp while it is charging?

Yes, most modern rechargeable table lamps are designed to safely function while connected to a power outlet via their USB cable, making it easy to keep the light on if the battery unexpectedly dies.

Are rechargeable lamps suitable for use outdoors?

Many models are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Check the lamp’s IP rating. If it IP44 or higher, it can handle splashes and light moisture. However, they should not be submerged in water or left out in heavy rain.

Our rechargeable lamps are not IP rated for use outdoors, but can be used outside in dry conditions or if under cover.

Are they bright enough for reading?

Absolutely. Most rechargeable lamps offer adjustable brightness levels. The highest setting is typically more than sufficient for reading or task work.
