Our Shotley Pendant Light combines a simple, contemporary design with some old fashioned metal detailing to produce a stunningly elegant pendant that would look fabulous suspended over your dining table, kitchen island or breakfast bar. Like all our glass pendants, it has been designed to hang above your table or units where the glass will make the most of any available light without losing any sense of space.
The Shotley features a hand blown clear glass ‘bowl’ shade with simple, straight lines that gives it a contemporary edge. The shade contrasts beautifully with its more traditional metal collar with decorative triangular cut outs and vintage-style braided cable. Pair it with one of our heritage LED bulbs with their old fashioned filaments and you have the perfect light for modern or traditional kitchens.

Jim Lawrence lights are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to a very high standard at our Suffolk workshop. This Shotley has been hand forged from high quality steel that has been painted Matt Black for a smart, uniform look and has a lovely weighty quality that befits its handmade nature.

Finish
Matt Black: A clean uniform finish that looks fantastic in any contemporary or traditional interior and works well with natural building materials like brick, stone, wood and plaster. To achieve it, the paint is applied with a powder coating process which creates a smooth, hard-wearing surface that is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Matt Black is a versatile finish that works well with any colourway and natural building materials such as brick, stone, plaster or woodwork. It also looks equally at home in a modern property as it does a period one.To lighten the brass just buff it occasionally with a small amount of brass cleaner to return it to its original hue.
