The cover, which is supplied with a ceramic bell push button, brass surround and circular Matt Black fixing plate, is a simple but clever design that incorporates a couple of contact points behind the push button that connects to the wires of your existing arrangement and remains hidden behind the backplate. The fixing plate has been lovingly hand forged from high quality steel and painted Matt Black for a robust, uniform finish. It has a lovely, tactile quality that befits its handmade nature and a classic look that will not date. All Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standards here at our Suffolk Workshop. This solid brass door push is suitable for use with a wired battery-operated bell system or transformer system supplied by mains 230v (not supplied).
