The Thornton is a striking glass pendant light that combines a traditional, fluted glass shade with a modern, visible brass bulb holder that gives it a contemporary edge and makes it an ideal choice for modern properties and an excellent way to update a more traditional setting.
Whether hung on its own in the centre of a room or grouped together above a kitchen island or dining room table, the Thornton is a lovely statement light that will draw your eye to is fine proportions. Many of our customers use it as bedside lighting, fitting them above a bedside table as an alternative to more traditional table lamps. This Thornton is made from solid, natural brass that has been antiqued to give it a subtle, classic look that will not date. The hand blown, fluted glass shade is ‘frilled’ along the bottom rim, giving it a popular retro feel.

- We recommend our Clear SBC LED Candle Bulb as the perfect accompaniment to your light as it has the look of a heritage bulb with a visible filament, gives off a warm, white light, is dimmable and is equivalent in strength to a 40W old style bulb.
- The Thornton is supplied with a ceiling rose and 50cm of braided cable. The rose is flush fitting so it you do not have enough room in your ceiling to hide the wiring, you may need to use a pattress to give it more depth. For more information please see out pattress guide below.
