The Queensbury Pendant Light combines the best of old fashioned styling with modern lighting technology to produce a pretty hanging pendant that would look lovely gracing any bedroom, lounge or hallway.Hand crafted from high quality forged iron and finished in beeswax for a soft, black appearance, the Queensbury features six shade arms strung with rows of glass beads surrounding an ornate central pillar. The pendant can be used with or without shades (sold separately) and is ideal for bringing a touch of old world charm to any interior scheme. The Queensbury comes supplied with: 1m of beeswax chain and black cable with Fordham Ceiling Rose in the same finish. This chandelier can be used with or without shades depending on the style you would like to achieve (shades sold separately). The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives is a lovely soft black wrought iron effect which looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre. It is not waterproof, so will need to be re-waxed occasionally.Kindly note, we do not recommend the beeswax finish for use in a humid environment, as it is harder to maintain and may rust.
