Our decorative cage-style Lucie Pendant Light is the perfect way to create a focal point as a centrepiece in hallway, lounge or bedroom, where its three candle arms will add lovely layers of light to your scheme. Its design is inspired by the Tudor style turrets found at many stately homes around the country, yet it comes with a modern twist in that it has no glass which means it will sit as comfortably in a contemporary setting as it will a traditional one.
Handcrafted at our Suffolk workshops, the Lucie is made from high quality forged iron and features a simple circular metal cage surrounding a central shade arm that supports three Tulip-style candle holders. This version is finished in beeswax, a traditional method for darkening metal that has been used since the 15th century.
- It is supplied with 1m of beeswax chain, our black braided cable and a ceiling rose in the same finish.

Finish: Beeswax - a traditional metalworking technique used since Tudor times. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives is a lovely soft black wrought iron effect which looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre. It is not waterproof, so will need to be rewaxed occasionally.
Kindly note, we do not recommend the beeswax finish for use in a humid environment, as it is harder to maintain and may rust. We feel Matt Black is a preferable option.
