DESCRIPTION Our popular Holkham Door Handle range takes its inspiration from a heritage of great British design, incorporating traditional detailing with the best modern materials and handcrafted skills to produce a great quality handle that will look fabulous for years to come. The Holkham is a classic handle available in a variety of backplate styles and our forged iron and antiqued brass finishes to ensure it suits any style of door. The Rowley backplate is round in shape with smooth bevelled edges, perfect for a contemporary or traditional feel to your door. This Holkham is made from solid, natural brass that has been antiqued for a subtle, aged look that will never date. The handles are supplied as a pair with backplates and fixing screws in the same finish. They are sprung on one side and are supplied with a 75mm length spindle that can be cut down to size. We can supply a 90mm spindle upon request. PRODUCT INFORMATON Backplate Dimensions: 6cm W x 6cm H Plate: This plate can be used for any door where a lock is not required, or where a lock is separate from the backplate FINISH: ANTIQUED BRASS - A beautiful, natural finish produced by distressing the brass to create a soft patina that is then treated with antiquing solution to speed up the natural tarnishing process and create a lovely aged look that will darken naturally over time. Antiqued Brass is an incredibly versatile finish that works well with any colourway and natural building materials such as brick, stone, plaster or woodwork and looks equally at home in a modern property as it does a period one. Yes, all our mortice lever and knob handles come as a pair and are supplied with a spindle and the backplate of your choice. Our lever handles are sprung on both sides. The knob handles are sprung on one side. ARE YOUR HANDLES SPRUNG? Our lever handles are sre sprung on both sides of the collar assembly to allow them to spring back into place after they has been pulled down.Knob handles have a turning mechanism rather than a lever one so they only require being sprung on one side. CAN I GET A LONGER SPINDLE? All our door handles are supplied with a standard length spindle that is 7.5cm long (7.5mm wide) and can be cut down to the depth of your door. We can supply a 9cm length spindle upon request. Our Rim Locks come with a longer spindle that is 12cm in length. A 13cm spindle can be supplied upon request DO YOU DO BESPOKE MODIFICATIONS? You can opt for different style handles on each side of the door as long as they are both knob or both lever handles.
