Our most popular ceiling rose, the Georgian, has a simple, elegant design that suits most interiors and is available in a variety of finishes to match your pendant light. Shown above in old gold, it is traditionally handcrafted at our Suffolk workshop from high quality forged iron that is painted old gold for a smart, uniform look that will feel equally at home in a modern room as a period one. It is available as a separate item so you can create your lighting scheme with the details of your choice. This slim ceiling rose has a flush fitting plate which may require you to recess a terminal block into your ceiling. If you do not have space, we would recommend you use our matching lighting pattress which will add enough depth to the rose to house your terminal within it. Alternatively, we also make the Fordham range of ceiling fixtures which simply fit over an existing plastic rose fitting. FINISH Old Gold: Our Old Gold is a beautiful, dull, old gold powder paint that is applied on top of layers of black paint to give it a dark, matt tone. It is then heated in a powder coating process to produce a smooth resilient finish which is then gently antiqued by hand to give it a richer, deeper look that will bring a subtle touch of luxury to any traditional or contemporary setting.
