Our most popular ceiling rose, the Georgian, has a simple, elegant design that suits most interiors and is available in a variety of finishes to match your pendant light. Shown above in polished lacquer, it is traditionally handcrafted at our Suffolk workshop from high quality forged iron that is polished to a deep gunmetal grey that that will feel equally at home in a modern room as a period one. It is available as a separate item so you can create your lighting scheme with the details of your choice. This slim ceiling rose has a flush fitting plate which may require you to recess a terminal block into your ceiling. If you do not have space, we would recommend you use our matching lighting pattress which will add enough depth to the rose to house your terminal within it. FinishPolished: A gunmetal finish that highlights the natural colour of polished, lacquered iron for a vintage or industrial look that suits a contemporary setting and will update a traditional one. To produce the finish, we coat our steel products in a metallic lacquer that emulates the texture and patina of iron and gives the product great character that looks wonderful with grey or natural colourways and works particularly well with other metallic finishes such as nickel. Our Polished finish works well with natural building materials such as brick, stone, plaster and woodwork.
