Our most popular ceiling rose, the Georgian, has a simple, elegant design that suits most interiors and is available in a variety of finishes to match your pendant light. Shown above in nickel, it is traditionally handcrafted at our Suffolk workshop from solid, natural brass that is nickel plated for a bright, silvery look that will feel at home in a modern room or update a period one. It is available as a separate item so you can create your lighting scheme with the details of your choice. This slim ceiling rose has a flush fitting plate which may require you to recess a terminal block into your ceiling. If you do not have space, we would recommend you use our matching lighting pattress which will add enough depth to the rose to house your terminal within it. Alternatively, we also make the Fordham range of ceiling fixtures which simply fit over an existing plastic rose fitting. Finish Nickel: Our nickel lustre is created by plating solid brass with highly polished nickel then finishing it with a flash coating of chrome that will add to its durability and create a crisp, clean silvery patina to brighten your room. Nickel is a versatile finish that works well with any colourway and natural building materials such as brick, stone, plaster or woodwork. It looks equally at home in a modern property as it does a period one and will catch the light more than our painted finishes, so is great to use if you want to make a statement, as it will help draw your eye.
