Celebrating the beautifully reflective qualities of glass, we’ve designed our Compton with a clear glass shade so you can enjoy its delicate hues in your kitchen, bedroom or dining room. A smaller version of our popular Holborn and Richmond pendant lights, the Compton is designed to sit perfectly above kitchen islands, breakfast bars and dining tables where the airy, transparent quality of the hand blown glass allows you to create a stunning focal point without losing any sense of space.

Jim Lawrence lights are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standards here at our Suffolk workshop. Each Compton is handcrafted from solid, high quality steel and painted Matt Black for a smart, uniform look. It has a wonderful, weighty quality that befits its handmade nature.
Supplied with:
- 50cm of black braided cable and our Georgian ceiling rose in the same finish.
- We recommend our LED Clear Candle Bulb as the perfect accompaniment to your light as it replicates the heritage look of an incandescent bulb, reaches full strength immediately, will flood your room with a soft warm light and has a lumens (brightness) of a traditional 40W bulb.
- Our Holborn Range for a larger shade option or the Richmond if you're looking for a really oversized pendant version.

Finish
Matt Black: A clean uniform finish that looks fantastic in any contemporary or traditional interior and works well with natural building materials like brick, stone, wood and plaster. To achieve it, the paint is applied with a powder coating process which creates a smooth, hard-wearing surface. Matt Black is an incredibly versatile finish that works well with any colourway.
