DESCRIPTION Our stunning Chester Door Handle range takes its inspiration from a heritage of great British design, incorporating traditional faceted detailing with the best modern materials and handcrafted skills to produce a great quality handle that will look fabulous for years to come.The Chester is a classic handle available in a variety of back plate styles and our forged iron and antiqued brass finishes to ensure it suits any style of door. The Ripley back plate has straight, bevelled edge and double coved detailing for a classic touch to your door. All Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standards at our Suffolk workshop. This Chester is made from high quality forged iron that has been finished in polished for a gunmetal grey look and has a wonderful weighty quality that befits its handmade nature.The handles are supplied as a pair with back plates and fixing screws in the same finish. To produce the finish, we coat our steel products in a metallic lacquer that apes the texture and patina of iron and gives the product great character that looks wonderful with grey or natural colourways and works particularly well with other metallic finishes such as nickel. Our Polished finish works well with natural building materials such as brick, stone, plaster and woodwork.
