The Butler has been handcrafted from solid, natural brass that has been lightly antiqued for a subtle, aged look. It features a spun brass shade, period detailing on the collar and heritage-look brown braided flex. It has a lovely tactile quality that befits its handmade nature. All
Jim Lawrence lights are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the highest standards here at our Suffolk workshop.
Supplied with:
- 1m of bronze braided cable, Georgian Ceiling Rose and fixings in the same finish
- If you require a deeper ceiling rose to hide your wiring, you can use our Georgian Lighting Pattress that fixes onto the fitting to give it more depth. For fitting advice, see our Pattress Fitting Guide.
- We recommend our Classic GLS LED Bulb as the perfect accompaniment to your light as replicates the look of a traditional bulb, lights up to full strength immediately, gives off a warm white light and is dimmable.
The Butler Pendant is also available as a

Rise & Fall version.

Finish: Antiqued Brass - a beautiful, natural finish produced by rumbling the brass to create a soft patina that is then treated with antiquing solution to speed up the natural tarnishing process and create a lovely aged look that will darken naturally over time. Antiqued Brass is an incredibly versatile finish that works well with any colourway and natural building materials and looks equally at home in a modern property as it does a period one. This product can be customised for a small additional cost dependant on the number of customisations required.
Finish Options: this item is already supplied in
clay,
heritage copper,
matt black,
nickel, plain ivory and
