We have taken some lovely old fashioned brass detailing and combined it with a beautiful modern glass shade to give you our Bloomsbury Pendant Light. Like all our glass pendants, the Bloomsbury is designed to sit perfectly above kitchen islands, breakfast bars and dining tables where the airy, transparent quality of its glass shade allows you to create a stunning focal point without losing any sense of space.
With a clear glass shade showing off the internal lamp holder, the Bloomsbury has a contemporary feel that is perfect for updating a scheme, yet, combined with its vintage-style nickel collar and bottom ring, it also has a look that is reminiscent of an old fashioned oil lamp. To add to its heritage feel, try pairing it with our
Squirrel Cage LED Bulb. It is designed to replicate the traditional look of an incandescent bulb and its visible filaments will suit any style of home, flooding your room with soft, warm light.

Jim Lawrence lights are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standards here at our Suffolk workshop. The Bloomsbury is hand forged from solid natural brass that has been nickel plated for a bright silver look and has a wonderful, weighty quality that befits its handmade nature. It comes supplied with 1m of black braided cable, nickel chain and our Georgian ceiling rose in the same finish.
Kindly note, glass is a natural resource and as each piece is individually hand blown, slight imperfections may occasionally occur such as ripples and small bubbles.

FINISH
Nickel: Our nickel finish has a bright, silvery quality that is more akin to Chromium than many other nickel finishes available elsewhere. Its lustre is created by plating solid brass with highly polished nickel then finishing it with a flash coating of chrome that will add to its durability. Nickel is a versatile finish that works well with any colourway and natural building materials. It looks equally at home in a modern property as it does a period one and being highly reflective, will catch the light more than our painted finishes, so is great to use if you want to make a statement, as it will help draw your eye.
