Effortlessly versatile, the conduit is a universal size to ensure a perfect fit with any of our conduit components, compatible Jim Lawrence lights and conduit parts from other manufacturers. We offer 1m or 2m conduit kits with tubes that can be cut as required. The conduit system works via a series of push fit couplers to join the tube between junction boxes. The couplers have an internal O-Ring that presses against the tube creating an IP seal. Please note that we always recommend you use a qualified electrician to help you install your lighting and accessories. KIT CONTAINS 1m brass tube - diameter of 20mm, 2 x brass conduit couplers, 2 x Nitrile O-rings, 2 x grub screws The 1m kit does not come with fixing brackets as they are not required for this length. The brass tube can be shortened on installation ADDITIONAL INFORMATION System uses industry standard M20 threads and 20mm tube between all conduit fittings and junction boxes. To join the conduit system with a compatible Jim Lawrence outdoor light a 20mm Conduit Adaptor (8006AB) is required. If using the conduit system in an IP23 or above rated environment, the O-Ring washers and locking M4 grub screws MUST be used. IP Rating: An IP44 rating can be achieved when fitted with recommended outdoor lighting - see our Guide to IP Ratings COMPATIBLE WITH INTERNAL SETTINGS ONLY Use this kit in conjunction with any of our 20mm conduit components, conduit junction boxes and conduit surface mounting boxes for switches and sockets.
