DESCRIPTION A majestic ceiling lantern with beautiful 16th-century-inspired scrollwork, our Medium Charlecote Lantern makes perfect statement lighting for hallways, stairwells and any home with high ceilings. Calling to mind the Tudor turrets of Charlecote Park in Warwickshire, after which the lantern is named, we wanted to design a lantern that would showcase the work of our talented blacksmiths. This generously proportioned glass lantern is made from high-quality forged iron finished in bronze metallic, and features a hexagonal metal cage that houses three lamp holders shielded by six panes of glass – one of which opens to enable easy bulb changing. All Jim Lawrence lights are made using traditional metalworking techniques and are hand-finished here at our Suffolk workshopsPlease note: glass is a natural resource, and as each piece is individually handmade, slight imperfections may occasionally occur such as ripples and small bubbles.
