Our Chester Wall Light is the electric cousin to our Hurricane Candle Sconce, bringing a touch of the past to the present and looking equally at home in an industrial space as it does a traditional one. With its hand blown, flared glass shade and elegant metal turnings, it makes a design statement wherever it is hung and looks particularly good adding a layer of soft light to a bedroom or living room.

The Chester has been manufactured from good quality forged iron that has been beeswaxed for a traditional, rustic appearance that is an excellent choice for anyone wishing to update their interior without losing any sense of period charm. It has a lovely, weighty quality that befits its handmade nature and a robust design that will last for years to come without dating.

Finish: Beeswax - a traditional technique used since Tudor times. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives is a lovely soft black wrought iron effect which looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre.
