This charming Hurricane Candle Sconce is our take on a classic Edwardian design that we have brought up to date with our customary flair to produce a sconce with a simple, pared down design that will bring a touch of class to any space, indoors or out.
Crafted from solid, natural brass and lightly antiqued for a subtle, aged look, the Hurricane is supplied with a hand blown, clear glass shade that will show off the gentle flicker of candlelight to its best effect. It will sit perfectly in any modern or period home wherever you would like to create a warm, inviting atmosphere or where wiring is impractical.
The glass shade has been specially made with high sides to prevent the candle from being blown out should you want to use it outside, where it would bring a magical light to any patio, courtyard or barbecue area.

Antiqued Brass: A beautiful, natural finish produced by distressing the brass to create a soft patina that is then treated with antiquing solution to speed up the natural tarnishing process and create a lovely aged look that will darken naturally over time. Antiqued Brass is an incredibly versatile finish that works well with any colourway and natural building materials such as brick, stone, plaster or woodwork and looks equally at home in a modern property as it does a period one. To lighten the brass just buff it occasionally with a small amount of brass cleaner to return it to its original hue.
