This wall light is hand crafted from high quality steel and beeswaxed for a soft black look. It has a lovely weighty quality that befits is handmade nature and is an an excellent choice for anyone wishing to update their interior without losing any sense of period charm.
- This is a flush fitting light, so you may need to use an architrave box and reducer lid behind the backplate to hide the wiring if you cannot make a cavity in your wall - see Our Backplates Explained.
- The Double Cottage is not supplied with shades but we have a huge collection of handmade candle clip shades in a multitude of colours to find your perfect match.

Finish: Beeswax - A traditional technique used since Tudor times. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives is a lovely soft black wrought iron effect which looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre. It is not waterproof, so will need to be rewaxed occasionally. To discover more about our finishes, check out our

CUSTOMISATIONS
This product can be customised for a small additional cost dependant on the number of customisations required.
Finish Options: already available in antiqued brass, matt black, old gold, old ivory, plain ivory and polished. This item can be supplied in any of our other painted finishes - clay, slate grey and shaker green.
