Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standards here at our Suffolk workshop. This wall light is lovingly hand forged from solid, high quality forged iron and painted Matt Black for a uniform matt look. It has a lovely weighty quality that befits is handmade nature and is an excellent choice for anyone wishing to update their interior without losing any sense of period charm.
- This is a flush fitting light, so you may need to use an architrave box and reducer lid behind the backplate to hide the wiring if you cannot make a cavity in your wall - see Our Backplates Explained.
- We recommend our LED Clear Candle Bulb as the perfect accompaniment to your light as it has the look of a heritage bulb, lights up to full strength instantly, is dimmable and will flood your room with a soft warm light.
- The Cottage is not supplied with shades but we have a huge collection of handmade candle clip shades in a multitude of colours to find your perfect match.

Matt Black: A clean uniform finish that looks fantastic in any contemporary or traditional interior and works well with natural building materials like brick, stone, wood and plaster. To achieve it, the paint is applied with a powder coating process which creates a smooth, hard-wearing surface that is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
