Our Lymington Wall Light, with its beautifully fine, adjustable stem and visible braided cable has the look of period light but with a modern twist that would look wonderful in any bedroom, living room or hallway.
Hand forged from solid brass, its clever design combines the best of old fashioned styling with modern trends so that it will suit a traditional interior as much as a contemporary one. We love the period-look rounded raised backplate, delicate turnings beneath the lamp holder and its classic thumbscrew with our heritage style bronze braided cable. Matched with one of our gorgeous handmade half shades, that may be purchased separately, it has a class look that will never date.

Jim Lawrence lights are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standard here at our Suffolk workshop. This Lymington is hand forged from natural brass and lightly antiqued for a subtle, aged look and has a lovely, tactile quality that befits its handmade nature. The shade height can be adjusted by the thumbscrew to sit higher or lower on the stem.

Antiqued Brass: A beautiful, natural finish produced by distressing the brass to create a soft patina that is then treated with antiquing solution to speed up the natural tarnishing process and create a lovely aged look that will darken naturally over time. To lighten the brass just buff it occasionally with a small amount of brass cleaner to return it to its original hue.
