DESCRIPTION Complete your window dressing with our 20mm classic curtain rod in our traditional black Beeswax finish for a lovely soft, forged iron look that will suit modern and period homes alike. These curtain rods are made to measure from premium quality, high strength steel tubing and are suitable for any sized windows and fabric weight. We also make a wide range of complementary finials, brackets and rings for you to choose from.We do not recommend a beeswax finish for use in a humid environment, as it is harder to maintain and may rust. We feel that Matt Black is the preferable option. PRODUCT INFORMATION Centre bracket: any length of pole can be ordered, but if over 180cm long we would recommend using a central support bracket.Pole length: if over 210cm long the pole will be supplied in two (or more) equal parts with a joiner rod. The join will be covered by your centre bracket. What size pole? the weight of your curtain fabric will help you determine the best pole diameter for your needs. For more information see our guide - Which Pole for Curtains?Rule of thumb: if curtains are interlined and the window span is over 2m, use at least a 25mm pole. If in doubt, size up! FINISH Beeswax: a traditional metalworking technique used since Tudor times to give a rustic, soft black finish. For more information, see our Product Finishes guide.Differing beeswax finish: our poles have a smooth surface which means the natural beeswax we coat them with doesn't adhere as well as it does to the brackets, finials and rings - often leaving them with a slightly lighter, shiny tone than the accessories. Customers don't normally find this a problem once their poles and curtains are hung, but if you are after a more uniform look, please consider matt black finish instead.
