DESCRIPTION This beautiful, heavy duty Vertical Door Bolt will make a statement in any room in your home, as well as well as improve your security. Hand crafted from high quality forged iron, the Vertical Door Bolt has a solid, weighty appearance that feels as good in your hand as it does to your eye and its traditional blacksmithing marks will complement both period and contemporary properties. This bolt is fairly substantial in size and can be used both vertically and horizontally and is supplied with a mortice, keep and fixing screws. All Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metal working techniques that have been passed down the generations and are finished to the highest standards here at our Suffolk workshop. We do not recommend the beeswax finish for bathrooms or outdoor use as it may rust in a humid environment. We feel that Matt Black is the preferable option. PRODUCT INFORMATION Dimensions: Bolt is 35cm H x 4cm W Bolt Backplate: 17cm H Keep is 1.6cm H KNOWLEDGE BASE GUIDES Keeping Beeswax Clean Locks and Latches Explained FINISH Beeswax: A traditional technique used since Tudor times.
