A decorative wall light with a touch of Arts & Crafts about it, the Teybor Wall Light has long been one of our most popular wall sconces. With its bold, rectangular backplate, dainty drip try and distinctive turnings on the shade arm, it has a striking design that will make a statement wherever it is fitted and is well suited to any space in your home where you wish to add character, as well as soft layers of light for a feeling of warmth and comfort.
The Teybor is handcrafted from high quality steel and finished in beeswax, a traditional method for blackening metal used since Tudor times, that gives a lovely soft black, rustic look that suits a modern interior as much as a traditional one. This is a
flush fitting wall light with a keyhole backplate so will require a wall cavity to house the wiring. For more information, please see our

Keyhole Fitting Guide.

How To Clean Beeswax
FINISH
Beeswax: a traditional metalworking technique used since Tudor times. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives is a lovely soft black wrought iron effect which looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre. It is not waterproof, so will need to be rewaxed occasionally.
