Crafted in our Suffolk workshop by skilled makers, this door bell cover carries the individuality and lived in character that only human hands can create. Its square outline is inspired by Art Deco design that became popular in the 1920s and 30s, driven by the geometric, clean-lined aesthetic of new, factory led production.Its design is compatible with most battery and mains operated systems for doorbells that ring or chime, and will suit contemporary and period properties. The Square Door Bell Cover comes supplied with a ceramic bell push button and square antiqued brass fixing plate in a simple but clever design that incorporates a couple of contact points behind the push button that connects to the wires of your existing arrangement and remains hidden behind the backplate. It is handcrafted from solid, natural brass and lightly antiqued for a subtle, aged look that we know complements most building materials and the natural tones of any outdoors setting.All Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standards here at our Suffolk Workshop. This solid brass door push is suitable for use with a wired battery-operated bell system or transformer system supplied by mains 230v (not supplied).
