DESCRIPTION Made with our customary attention to detail, our beautifully Reeded Escutcheon plates are inspired by the best of Georgian design and have been made to compliment our Brass Reeded Door Knob range and Georgian window stays and latches. Hand cast from solid brass, the Reeded Escutcheon features a traditional keyhole shaped surround with a flap that will keep out the draught. This one is available in antiqued brass, our most popular finish, created by coating the brass in antiquing solution to speed up the natural tarnishing process to create a lovely aged look that will darken naturally over time. Should you wish to lighten in, all you need to do is buff it gently with a tiny amount of brass polish to bring it back to its original hue. The Reeded Escutcheon plate is 7cm high x 2cm wide and is also available in nickel and polished brass, or as a forged iron look version in matt black and polished lacquer.
