This window latch is made from high grade steel that gives it a lovely weighty quality that feels wonderful in your hand. It has been finished in our polished lacquer that gives it a gunmetal grey, pewter colour that would suit any modern or period home. To produce the gunmetal grey colour, we polish the metal then seal it with a high gloss clear lacquer to create a finish with great durability. The texture and patina of the iron itself gives the product character which looks wonderful with a grey or natural colour way and works particularly with other metallic finishes such as nickel.
