Shown above in our old ivory for a soft, French country house appeal, they will keep your curtains neat and tidy when drawn back and bring an air of rustic charm to your interior. These holdbacks are available in two sizes and can be used with any style of curtain. We recommend using a large holdback with heavy curtains or where there is more than on width of fabric used. All Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metal working techniques that have been handed down through the generations and are hand finished to the highest standards at our Suffolk workshops.We not recommend the beeswax finish for use in a humid environment, as it is harder to maintain and may rust. We feel that matt black is the preferable option. PRODUCT INFORMATION Made from: steelEmbrace: 12cm Dimensions: 24W x 12H x 12D (cms)Finish: Beeswax - a traditional metalworking technique used since Tudor times to give a rustic, soft black finish. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives it a lovely soft black wrought iron effect that looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre.
