With its voluminous metalwork, flowing lines and up turned shade arms, the Florentine Pendant reminds us of a ballgown in full twirl, complete with petticoats flying! Undeniably pretty, its design is based on the pared down multi-armed pendants that are popular in Southern France and Italy where shabby chick style predominates.
A delightful statement light, the Florentine would look lovely above a dining room table or as a focal point in a hallway, sitting room or bedroom. Handcrafted from high quality forged iron and available in a choice of finishes to suit any setting, it will add lovely layers of light to any interior scheme. All
Jim Lawrence lights are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the highest standard at our Suffolk workshop.
We recommend our range of
Empire Candle Clip Shades make for a good match to this pendant, while the

Finish: Beeswax - a traditional technique used since Tudor times. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives is a lovely soft black wrought iron effect which looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre. It is not waterproof, so will need to be rewaxed occasionally.
