Handcrafted from high quality steel and painted matt black, it fits seamlessly into the current desire for metallic fittings in modern kitchen designs.Designed to provide much-needed tasking light in kitchens, boot rooms and utilities, the Eleigh is a classic downlighter that gives focussed light over your kitchen units, walls and cabinetry. It features a useful ball joint just above the shade so it can angled where you need directional light, also useful for a home study or bedside lighting in a bedroom.All Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metalworking techniques that have been passed down through the generations and are hand finished to the highest standards by our skilled crafters at our Suffolk workshops. We recommend our ES (E27) Classic GLS LED Filament Bulb as the perfect partner for your Eleigh as it lights up to full strength immediately, is dimmable and has a soft, warm light equivalent to an old style 40-50W bulb.The Eleigh has a flush-fitting backplate. If you cannot hide the wiring in your walls, you may need to use our Georgian Lighting Pattress to give it added depth. This is integral to its design and is not noticeable if you angle the shade towards the wall.
