DESCRIPTION Refresh your front door with our decorative, vintage style, hand forged Nickel doorbell cover that combines the best of old fashioned styling with battery and mains operated systems for doorbells that ring and chime and will suit contemporary and period properties. The cover, which is supplied with a ceramic bell push button and Nickel surround on a circular Nickel fixing plate, is a simple but clever design that incorporates a couple of contact points behind the push button that connects to the wires of your existing arrangement and remains hidden behind the circular backplate. The doorbell cover has been hand forged from solid, natural brass that has been Nickel plated for a clean, crisp silvery look. It has a lovely, tactile quality that befits its handmade nature and a classic design that will not date. All Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standards here at our Suffolk Workshop. This solid brass door push is suitable for use with a wired battery-operated bell system or transformer system supplied by mains 230v (not supplied).
