DESCRIPTION Our popular, nautical themed Clipper Light is now available with a frosted glass shade. An inspired idea, the Clipper is designed for outdoor settings where a full scale lantern or wall light would be too large. The Clipper's dainty look and IP rating is ideal for coastal, riverfront or countryside cottages faced with 'big' weather conditions but small external porches. It also makes an excellent, subtle security light if used with a motion sensor (not supplied). With its hand blown glass shade housed in a vintage-style cage, the Clipper is similar in look to our best selling Ships Light. Its neat size lends itself to being fitted as a pair either side of a back door or front porch, or in a row – to illuminate a walkway or flight of steps – as well as to brighten up a small bathroom, cloakroom or hallway. The frosted glass hides the bulb and diffuses light beautifully, casting a soft pool of light on your exterior walls, perfect for creating a welcoming feel.All Jim Lawrence lights are made using traditional brass working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standards here at our Suffolk workshop. This Clipper has been handcrafted from solid, natural brass that is antiqued to give a subtle, aged appearance that will darken naturally over time.
