A stylish, contemporary standard lamp with an elegant tripod stand, the Adler will bring a light, modern touch to your room. The design incorporates three angled legs that converge on a holding bracket two thirds of the way up before crossing over to join the lamp holder plate from underneath.
Handcrafted from solid, high quality forged iron, this Adler is finished in beeswax, a traditional method of darkening metal used since Tudor times, to produce a soft black patina with grey or ochre undertones. All Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the highest standards here at our Suffolk workshop.
- Floor lamps are supplied with an on/off switch so are not dimmable.
- We recommend our Classic BC LED Bulb as the perfect partner for your Adler Floor Lamp as it has the look of a heritage bulb, is energy efficient and gives off a warm white light.

Beeswax: A traditional metalworking technique used since Tudor times. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives is a lovely soft black wrought iron effect which looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre. It is not waterproof, so will need to be rewaxed occasionally.
