DESCRIPTION Dress your stairs or steps with our beautiful, ready-made 2m Cannonball Handrail Pack in our natural black Beeswax finish, for a lovely traditional look to your home. The packs are designed as an elegant, yet quick and easy fix for your support needs. The 2m Cannonball handrail contains 2 lengths of solid steel pole, each with a cannonball finial and bracket welded to it, a third central bracket and fixing screws. Each pack contains all you need to dress one flight of steps and comes complete with handrail, finials and brackets: 2m handrail - length inclusive of finials. 2 pre-fixed sleeve brackets, 1 separate central bracket. 2 pre-fixed cannonball finials Fixing screws Other information Overall length of this pack, including the finials: 200cm Poles are made from high quality, solid 16mm diameter steel. Ideal for a small flight of steps. Available in a choice of finishes and finial styles. Can easily be cut down to size at home. Finish Beeswax: A traditional technique used since Tudor times. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives is a lovely soft black wrought iron effect which looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre. It is not waterproof, so will need to be re-waxed occasionally. For more information, please read our Product Finish pages. Kindly note, we do not recommend the beeswax finish for use in a humid environment, as it is harder to maintain and may rust. We feel Matt Black is a preferable option.
