Jim Lawrence London Window Stay is an elegant, hand crafted brass window stay designed for casement windows from our stunning London Collection. These 25cm stays have a lovely, weighty solid brass rod that is incredibly tactile to feel and opens with a smooth mechanism that speaks of its quality. Brass fittings have become a staple of modern interiors as their 'honeyed' tones inject a sense of warmth and a timess, heritage appeal to your home.
Made here at our Suffolk workshop using traditional brass working techniques, these London window stays have been polished for a bright, reflective look that will enhance any window in a contemporary or period home. - The London Window Stay is supplied with two keeps. It is available in three lengths and works with a variety of window sizes. It is also available in an antiqued brass finish.

Kindly note: Our window stays are designed for side-hung casement windows. They won't work on a top-hung casement window because the angle of opening is too steep. The stay needs to sit flat to latch into the peg holes and a top hung casement window produces a steep angle that prevents the stay from latching into the peg holes. Instead, you will need to use a friction hinge that is not currently in our product range.

Polished Brass: A beautiful natural finish that works well with any colourway indoors and outside and looks equally at home in a contemporary setting as a traditional one. The polished brass version creates a classic, bright look that will never date. Kindly note, the brass will darken naturally over time so will need to be buffed regularly with a small amount of brass cleaner to keep it bright and reflective.
