Inspired by the colours of the British countryside in spring and summer, our latest fabric collection weaves vibrant hues with organic tones and textures.
Jute is a thick natural fibre from the stem of the Jute plant originally grown in Bangladesh and Bengal but now throughout the world thanks to its durability. Its yarn is characterised by a rough, loose weave that looks wonderful as a lampshade because it lets lots light through giving it an attractive ‘mottled’ appearance.
It makes a charming lampshade that we have made even more characterful with the addition of a tassled edge. This shade can be effortlessly combined with our other fabrics for a complete country modern look to any style home and gives an understated beauty for a laid-back kitchen, living room or bedroom.
