DESCRIPTION Our white vellum diffusers are perfect for softening the glare of a light bulb. They simply sit inside the bottom rim of a pendant lampshade and draw your eye to the lampshade instead of the bulb. Vellum was traditionally made from stretched and dried calfskin, but these days is generally made from a mix of paper with cellulose fibres like wood pulp or cotton to give the look and feel of frosted glass, often used in card making or invites. Our vellum is designed specifically for lighting, so is a mix of fine grade paper and 300 micon clear PVC that gives it a gentle, translucent quality that allows enough light through the diffuser for a soft glow over dining tables, living rooms or bedrooms, while hiding and diffusing the glare of the bulb.Dimensions: 45W x 45D (cms)Please note: our diffuser are only suitable for cylinder shades.MAX 7.5W LED bulb – halogen bulbs are not recommended as they may scorch the fabric.
