Our Waterford Linens are soft, tactile fabrics made up of a selection of gorgeous dusky tones that lend themselves beautifully to soft furnishings, whether curtains, shades or cushions. Linen is a beautifully soft, yet tough, natural fabric that is prized throughout the world for its versatility. Used everywhere from bedding to upholstery and lampshades families would pass their linen to the next generation such was its durability which is two to three times stronger than cotton.
With a thicker, slightly stiffer yarn than cotton, linen is a delightfully porous, lightweight fabric that softens with use and wicks away both heat and moisture, making it ideal for lampshades. It is also naturally hypo-allergenic. The weave has a subtle slub that lends a charming simplicity to modern day interiors, perfect for creating a fresh, informal feel in a room.

Colour variations can occur between different batches of fabric and is to be expected with any natural fibre. If you are using this fabric more than once in the same room, we recommend ordering the whole amount needed in one go to ensure that it comes from the same batch (this includes matching to any shades previously purchased from us). If this is not possible, please ask for a stock cutting from the current batch and check the fabric on receipt as, once cut to length, our fabrics are non-returnable unless faulty.
