We have been buying candles from Charles Farris for over 20 years, so we decided it is high time to offer you more choices with an extended range. This London-based company has been making candles since Victorian times when Charles Farris, a soap maker, noticed there was a demand for high-quality candles for churches. Such was his success, that he established a small factory and began supplying candles throughout London, including Westminster Abbey and St Paul’s Cathedral and eventually, Queen Elizabeth II. The company continues to draw from its rich heritage whilst spearheading the fragrance industry, creating new and exciting aromas for us to enjoy. The Portobello Candle has a rich aroma based on the scents of Notting Hill's famous Portobello market. Composed of fresh raspberry and garden rose with hints of rich oak smoke, pomegranate and pink pepper that combine to make a warm and sensual scent. Every candle is hand-poured for a slow, even burn.
