A twin to our single version, the Double Gosford Wall Light will bring a compact, handmade elegance to your interior. Handcrafted from solid steel and designed with low slung curved arms and a generously proportioned backplate, it will take pride of place on your living room, bedroom or kitchen walls, without taking up too much room. With our customary attention to detail, we have designed these lights with dainty drip trays and a beautifully bevelled backplate that shows off the quality of craftsmanship that we are known for.
Jim Lawrence has worked hard over the past 20 years to build up an international reputation for classic, high quality lighting and we feel our Gosford really encapsulates our passion for elegant, period look wall lighting. All our lights are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standards here at our Suffolk workshop.
- This is a flush fitting light so you may need to use an architrave box and reducer lid behind the backplate to hide the wiring if you cannot make a cavity in your wall - see Our Backplates Explained.
- We recommend our LED Clear Candle Bulb as the perfect accompaniment to your light as it is designed to replicate the traditional look of an incandescent bulb, lights up instantly, is dimmable and will flood your room with a soft warm light.
- The Double Gosford is not supplied with shades but we have a huge collection of handmade Candle Shades in a multitude of colours to find your perfect match.

Finish
Beeswax: A traditional technique used since Tudor times. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives is a lovely soft black wrought iron effect which looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre. It is not waterproof, so will need to be rewaxed occasionally. To discover more about our finishes, check out our
