The Brompton is a hand forged, adjustable, solid steel standard lamp that has been specially designed as a reading light - ideal for use in a living room, study or bedroom. Featuring a beautiful spiral frond that emerges from the top of the stem, arching over the bulb holder, and a fully adjustable stand, it is as decorative as it is practical.
This Brompton is finished in Polished Lacquer where the steel is polished until it darkens and is then coated in a clear lacquer to protect it. It produces a lovely gunmetal grey colour that looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. The lamp’s height can be adjusted between 153 and 217cm, making it ideal as a reading light.
- Floor lamps are supplied with an on/off switch so are not dimmable.

- We recommend our dimmable Classic GLS LED Filament Bulb as the perfect accompaniment for your lamp as has the look of a heritage bulb, gives off a lovely warm white light, is energy efficient, lights to full strength immediately.

Polished: A gunmetal finish that highlights the natural colour of polished, lacquered iron for a vintage or industrial look that suits a contemporary setting and will update a traditional one. To produce the finish, we coat our steel products in a metallic lacquer that emulates the texture and patina of iron and gives the product great character that looks wonderful with grey or natural colourways and works particularly well with other metallic finishes such as nickel. Our Polished finish works well with natural building materials such as brick, stone, plaster and woodwork.
