DESCRIPTION One of the first lights we designed at Jim Lawrence – and one of the most popular – our Double Cottage Wall Light is much loved for its beautifully balanced design that combines timeless character with understated elegance in a strong, unfussy design that is ideal for country modern interiors. Inspired by traditional country-house lighting, its fine proportions, symmetry and beautiful ribbon detailing oozes an elegant simplicity that is pleasing to the eye and delivers a warm, inviting glow to bedside areas, fireplaces, or when adding ambience to a hallway or living room.This Double Cottage Wall Light is made from solid brass that has been gently antiqued to showcase the subtle beauty of the carefully worked metal, and to give it an aged appeal that develops more character over time, creating a look that feels both refined and authentically handcrafted, making it a versatile choice for both period and contemporary homes. All our lights are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standards here at our Suffolk workshop. The Cottage is not supplied with shades, but we have a huge collection of handmade candle shades in a multitude of colours for you to choose from.
