Hand crafted from high quality natural brass that has been lightly antiqued to give a subtle, aged appearance, it has a beautiful, weighty quality that can only be achieved by traditional blacksmithing methods. All Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the highest standards at our Suffolk workshops. Kindly note, our external letter plates are sprung so can be used vertically. However, our internal letter plates do not have a spring, so are not recommended for doors with vertical letterboxes.
