Shown above in our classic beeswax finish, these holdbacks will keep your curtains neat and tidy when they are drawn back and provide a decorative touch to your interior scheme.Available in two sizes, the smaller holdbacks can be used for any curtain but are generally recommended for curtains with one width of fabric is used or where they are fairly light and unlined. Beeswaxing is a traditional technique used since Tudor times to darken forged iron and give it a lovely, soft black rustic feel. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax that looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior.Kindly note, we do not recommend the beeswax finish for use in a humid environment as it is harder to maintain and may rust without regular rewaxing.
