These curtain rods are made to measure from premium quality, high strength steel tubing and are suitable for small windows or lightweight curtains. HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN MADE-TO-MEASURE POLE 1. Use our guide for tips on How to measure for a curtain pole.2. When you know length of pole you require, the next step is to choose the supporting brackets from our range of 12mm brackets in clay. We make a range of different styles - Chapel, Brett, Sleeve, Recess, Extended and Double Pole for you to choose from.3. Select the finials you would like from our range of 12mm finials in clay. All our made to measure poles are hollow so the finials slot inside them and are fixed by grub screws.4. Finally, work out the number of curtain rings you require. We recommend 1 ring per 7cm of pole. PRODUCT INFORMATION Pole Length Any length of pole can be ordered, but if over 150cm long we would recommend using a central support bracket If over 180cm long the pole will be supplied in two (or more) equal parts with a joiner rod. The join will be covered by your central bracket. As we don't manufacture adjustable passing brackets or rings to help support our 12mm poles, we recommend a maximum pole length of 300c Finish: Clay - a calm, neutral shade, ideal for creating a country house feel, indoors and out or for bringing a modern twist to any setting. It is the perfect colour for a neutral or – due to its putty-like grey flecks – to soften a grey scheme. If you have an architrave, window frame or radiator that sits particularly proud of your walls, you may need an extended bracket to ensure your curtains hang in front of them. They are double the depth of our normal brackets. WHAT DO I NEED FOR A RECESSED WINDOW? If you have a window without a facing wall to fix your pole to, you will need to use a pole with recessed brackets, or you can use a side fixing dormer rod.
