HOW TO MEASURE FOR CURTAINS
STEP 1. WIDTH
We recommend that you put up your pole before taking your measurements.
Measure the pole not the window itself.
Measure the width between the decorative finials.
STEP 2. SILL LENGTH
Sill Length - Measure from the bottom loop of the curtain to 1cm above the sill.
Below Sill Length - Measure from the bottom loop of the curtain ring to the desired length.
STEP 3. FULL LENGTH
Full Length - Measure from the bottom loop of the curtain ring to 1cm above the floor.
In all cases we will add 3cm above the loop to your measurement to allow for the curtain heading.
HOW TO MEASURE FOR BLINDS - OUTSIDE A WINDOW RECESS
Kindly note, we can only make blinds up to 150cm in width.
POLE HUNG
Length - When using a pole, measure from the bottom loop of the curtain ring to the required length.
Width - Measure from the outside edge of each bracket once they have been fixed in place.
BATTEN HUNG
Length - when using a batten, measure from the top edge of the batten to the required length.
Width - Add approximately 7cm (14cm total) on each side of your window to allow sufficient
HOW TO MEASURE FOR BLINDS - INSIDE A WINDOW RECESS
We recommend that a batten is used for blinds hung inside a window recess. The blind will be supplied with a self-adhesive Velcro heading and screw eyes (and the batten).
STEP 1. LENGTH
Measure the length from the top to the bottom of the recess.
STEP 2. WIDTH
Measure the width at the top of the window recess (1) in the middle (2) and at the bottom (3).
Record the smallest measurement of the three to ensure the blind does not snag when being lowered.
