These rods are made from solid, natural brass with turned ends and are made to measure to ensure the right fit. They are finished in our signature antiqued brass for a subtle, aged look that will not date. All Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metal working techniques and are finished to the very highest standards here at our Suffolk workshop.When ordering your stair rod, please state the length required from tip to tip allowing at least 1cm either side of your runner for the bracket. Each rod comes supplied with two fixing brackets. If your stair carpet has a particularly deep pile we can supply ‘spacers’ to increase the depth of your stair rod brackets. Antiqued Brass is an incredibly versatile finish that works well with any colourway and natural building materials such as brick, stone, plaster or woodwork and looks equally at home in a modern property as it does a period one.
