Hand forged from high quality steel that is painted in plain ivory for a soft country feel, it has a wonderful, weighty quality that befits its handmade nature and its dainty proportions make it ideal for use in any home, whether period or modern. Our take on a classic design, the Smugglers features generous drip trays and strap detailing on the backplate which harks back to the leather straps that were used to hold candle sconces in cottages and inns during Georgian times. All our lights are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standards here at our Suffolk workshop. We recommend our SES Candle LED Filament bulb as the perfect accompaniment to your light as it is designed to replicate the traditional look of an incandescent bulb, lights up instantly, is dimmable and will flood your room with a soft warm light. The Single Smugglers is not supplied with shades but we have a huge collection of handmade candle clip shades in a multitude of colours to find your perfect match.
